I am a PhD Candidate in Agricultural and Resource Economics at UC Berkeley. I am on the 2018-2019 job market and will be available for interviews at the ASSA meetings in Atlanta.
I am a development economist, and my research focuses on agricultural productivity in developing countries. My job market paper estimates the negative pumping externality from groundwater irrigation in India and implications for optimal policy. Ongoing work studies the roles of land and labor markets in adoption of irrigation for off-season vegetable cultivation in Rwanda.
