The Effects of Parental and Sibling Incarceration: Evidence from Ohio
ARE alumnus '19, Brown University Assistant Professor Matt Pecenco and co-authors have had their research published in the American Economic Review, Vol. 111, Issue 9. "Every year, millions of Americans experience the incarceration of a family member. Using 30 years of administrative data from Ohio and exploiting differing incarceration propensities of randomly assigned judges, this paper provides the first quasi-experimental estimates of the effects of parental and sibling incarceration in the United States."
ARE CE Specialist Emeritus Tim Wallace remembered in local publication, Berkeleyside
Cooperative Extension (CE) Specialist Emeritus Luther T. (Tim) Wallace [Aug. 16, 1928 – May 14, 2021] was recruited by ARE in 1963 and became a CE Specialist Emeritus in October 1996. He spent 58 years total in Berkeley. Read more about Tim's illustrious life here.
