I am currently the Senior Research & Evaluation Manager at Kiva.org. As part of the Kiva Labs initiative, I focus on how and where access to subsidized credit can help to alleviate poverty. I have a PhD in Agriculture & Resource Economics from UC Berkeley. My research focuses on approaches to measuring individual welfare and how that informs impact evaluation. I am especially interested in replicating influential research and the ways public collaboration can help us learn more from complex datasets.
