Meredith is UC Berkeley's Class of 1935 Endowed Chair in Energy and Professor of Agricultural and Resource Economics.

Meredith is a wide-ranging scholar with interests that cut across environmental and energy economics.  She has served on the NBER's EEE program's steering committee for several years.  Meredith's research has focused on market-based environmental regulations, energy efficiency, and energy use in developing nations. She also co-directs the Energy Institute at Haas.
