David Zilberman and co-editor Pol Antras have collected articles that combine conceptual analysis with empirical case studies. The emphasis is on the vulnerabilities of supply chains to shocks, their resilience and their capacity to adapt - among the studies is a pivot in response to the pandemic and adaptation to climate change shocks. Several ARE alumni contributed to the book.

Jiang Lin and co-authors' Nature Energy research article entitled 'Assessing the Roles of Efficient Market Versus Regulatory Capture in China’s Power Market Reform' is featured in the Nature Energy News & Views article 'Tensions between local interests and broader gains'.

On June 6th, 2023, roughly 60 practitioners, researchers, and community members met at UC Berkeley to discuss social and economic issues around groundwater management in California. Organized by University of California Cooperative Extension Specialists, Kristin Dobbin and Ellen Bruno, the convening aimed to identify how researchers, practitioners, and communities can work together to support SGMA implementation.
