ARE alumni Aluma Dembo (2017) and Fiona Burlig (2017), and 2nd year graduate student in the Department of Economics, Emily Eisner, are featured on the Berkeley Blog and UC Berkeley's main website.  As former, and a current member of WEB (Women in Economics at Berkeley), an organization that brings together the community of women studying economics at the graduate level, they discuss the rampant sexism addressed in the recent undergraduate honors thesis written by UC Berkeley economics major Alice Wu, which was featured in the New York Times and the Washington Post.
