The AAEA has named Ellen Bruno and Tamma Carleton as winners of the 2019 Outstanding Dissertation Award. Ellen is an Assistant Cooperative Extension Specialist in ARE, where she specializes in water resources and environmental economics. She completed her Ph.D. at UC Davis. Tamma is a 2018 graduate of ARE. She is currently a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Chicago, and this Fall will join the faculty of the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management at UC Santa Barbara.
