Initiated by ARE Associate Professor Joe Shapiro, the Lab for Environmental and Energy Economics (LEEEP) is a group of economists at UC Berkeley that seeks to improve understanding and policy on environmental and energy issues. The lab's affiliates publish research; teach and advise graduate and undergraduate students; host seminars and conferences; and translate and apply research findings for policymakers, businesses, and nonprofits.
