On March 4 – 5, Berkeley is hosting the Berkeley Bioeconomy Conference, bringing together academic, government, and industry participants from across the United States and internationally. UC Berkeley Chancellor Rich Lyons will be providing the opening remarks of the conference on Wednesday, March 4th.
Over the years, the Energy Biosciences Institute (EBI) has organized events highlighting how advances in biology and related sciences can address climate change, energy independence, food security, and rural development.
