Jill McCluskey, ARE Alumna and Professor at Washington State University, organized an AAEA-hosted session titled "George Judge: 100 and Counting. Econometrics in Agricultural and Applied Economics" at the American Economic Association Annual Meeting in Philadelphia on Sunday, January 4, 2026. Participants included three ARE faculty (Jeff Perloff, Gordon Rausser, and Sofia-Villas-Boas), U.C. Berkeley's Professor Daniel McFadden as the discussant, as well as ARE alumni, Berkeley economics faculty and alumni, and some of George's long-time collaborators. The session reflected many of George Judge’s econometric contributions, which have significantly impacted the field.
