In pursuing an Environmental Science major and Marine Science minor, I have become very interested in water as an indicator of global ecosystem health. My passion for the environment stems from a love of the outdoors and I am eager to better my understanding of how to conserve the environment during times of global change. Furthermore, I am excited to study ecological processes in Northern California, an area I have lived in for the last 8 years, and gain practical skills for future work in research fields.
