Current Research Interests:

• Behavioral Economics: probability weighting and biases in subjective probability assessments and inference
• Agricultural Crop Insurance (Why are farmers insuring/not insuring?)
• Modeling (techonology) adoption simultaneously with changes in price (with an application to crop insurance)

Topics of Interest, but not of current research:

• To what extent does "consumer sovereignty" express itself in a free market. I.e., if consumers have environmental preferences (for "green goods", organic food, or alternative energy), how are these expressed in the marketplace, what are the barriers for the expression of preferences, and what regulations are appropriate to foster more efficient markets.
• Shelf space, and the role of the retailers in IO.
