\end{cvlist}

\section{Research Experience}

\begin{cvlist}

\item \emph{University of California, Berkeley. Ag \& Resource
Economics:} Research assistant for Gordon Rausser and Leo
Simon. Codeveloped a number of computational, bargaining-theoretic
models of policy analysis.  1993--Present.

\item \emph{University of Minnesota, Ag \& Applied Economics:}
Research assistant for Scott Loveridge. Wrote my master's thesis on
the external effects of subsidized housing on neighborhood property
values. 1991--92.

\item \emph{Boston College, Center for the Study of Testing,
Evaluation, and Educational Policy:} Research Associate and Staff
Member, National Comission on Testing and Public Policy. Coauthored a
book on the social costs of standardized testing and studied the
effect of standardized testing on educational and employment
opportunities in the United States. 1989--90.

\end{cvlist}

\section{Teaching Experience}

\begin{cvlist}

\item \emph{University of California, Berkeley. Ag \& Resource
    Economics:} Teaching assistant for graduate level Math \&
  Statistics course. 1996.

\item \emph{Center for Economic Research and Graduate Education,
    Prague:} Selected to develop and teach a two week course to 15 policy
  analysts from Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic on modern
  techniques of economic policy analysis using computer software I
  developed at Berkeley. July 1995.

\item \emph{Boston College, School of Education:} Developed and

\section{Computer Experience}

\begin{cvlist}
\item \emph{Simulation Software:} Wrote a highly flexible
simulation tool (in C) that combines many of the powerful features of
commercial simulation packages such as GAMS and MATLAB with a number
of unique features that greatly facilitate the analysis of economic
and political-economic policy questions. 1993--Present.

\item \emph{Mathematica Courseware:} Developed a number of
  Mathematica packages for use in teaching the fundamentals of linear
  algebra, nonlinear programming and comparative statics to graduate
  students. 1996.

\item \emph{Internet Auctions:} With Leo Simon, developed a new kind
of \emph{Java}-based online auction that will allow large numbers of
people connected to the Internet to engage, via their Web browsers, in
real-time live auctions where many items are being offered
simultaneously. 1995--96.

\item \emph{Discrimination and Standardized Testing:} While working
for the National Comission on Testing and Public Policy, I developed a
simulation package that allowed Commission members to interactively
visualize the discriminatory effects of various standardized testing
instruments on women and minorities. 1989--1990.
