The forms of water access in the field vary from the bare minimum required by the labor code to the provision of personal hydration systems. In this section we will survey many common forms of access and discuss their strengths and limitations. The images were taken in various vinyards in California and the evaluations presented are based on interviews with workers, managers and our own observations.
