Giannini Foundation Library at UC Berkeley. Provides links to an excellent collection of natural resource, environmental and agriculutral resources.

UC Berkeley's Water Resources Center Archives. Provides information about this library as well as links to the water world.

UC Berkeley's Main Library. This site lists general library resources for UC Berkeley. It is useful for finding information on almost anything you would like to research. This site is a good starting point for accessing the variety of electronic resources available to the UCB community.

Government Resources

The California Department of Water Resources. Home page for California's water agency. Contains maps, historical and current events info. Also contains links to other water-related sites as well to some data.

The US Dept. of the Interior's Bureau of Reclamation. National level water agency. Contains info on water projects built with federal money. Links to data sources and maps.

USGS Water Resources in California Page. Includes information on conditions, data, programs, and publications relevant to California water resources.

The Army Corps of Engineers. This is the agency that built many of the nation's water projects. This page provides links to water and other Corps info.

California's Environmental and Resource Evaluation System (CERES). Provides environmental and resource information and data for California.

EBMUD Water Resource Links The East Bay water utility's water resource links. EBMUD's home page also provides information about its history, operations and its conservation program (EBMUD currently has a program which subsidizes water-saving landscaping and decking).

American Water Works Association. Group dedicated to safe drinking water.

American Water Resources Association. Professional organization for people working in water resources. Promotes multidisciplinary research in water resources and management.

Environmental News Network. A useful resource that also provides daily e-mail newsletters. Has headquarters in Berkeley!

The Washington Post. All those wonks inside the beltway are reading it. Has very good resource policy coverage in its national section.
