| If you have an academic question | I welcome questions during class (ask as many as you want),
after class, during my office hours, via E-mail.
See your TA in section or during his or her office hours. There are other resources available such as the Student Learning Center. You'll have to determine for yourself whether those resources are helpful. |
| Who to see about administrative questions: | ||
| "How do I get into the course?" | If you are not already in the course, you must get on the Telebears waitlist and fill out a RCA (request for class admission) form, available outside Evans 508-2 during the first week of class. This information and other registration information is available at http://emlab.berkeley.edu/econ/enrinfo.htm. Only Kris Mitchener (Evans 508-2, kris@econ) can admit you (neither I nor the TAs can admit you). | |
| "I've been sick," "My roommate ate my lecture notes," | See your TA.

| "I'm really sick - I'd like an incomplete." | Get an incomplete grade request form from either Sproul or Campbell Hall, attach the medical records (letters from doctors), have me sign it, then have the undergraduate advisor in the Economics Department sign it if you are a declared econ major (otherwise do what the form says). Then see both your TA and me. Incompletes will not be given in the last week of the term except for true emergencies. All long-standing problems must be dealt with before then. | |
| "I have a learning or other disability." | Tell both your TA and me. Bring me the official UC form. We'll do our best to accommodate you. | |
| "I have a questions about my grade..." | See your TA.
