This course is the first part of the Development sequence. It addresses issues in the microeconomics of development.

Announcements:
  • The reading list is periodically updated to include all the articles that I have cited and used in class.
  • Midterm exam is on Tuesday October 16, in class. Closed book exam. The material for the exam consists in class notes and assigned readings. Previous years exam texts: 2003 midterm, 2004 midterm, 2006 midterm.
  • Final exam is on Monday December 10
