A treated field is one that has been treated with a pesticide or had a restricted entry interval in effect within the last 30 days. Generally, farm labor contractors, foremen, and company safety coordinators must attend an approved "instructor training program" to become qualified to instruct fieldworkers. I'll conduct an instructor training program, in English, at the Fresno cooperative extension office Friday, November 6, 1998. To preregister for this free half-day class, call Yolanda Murillo or Steve Sutter on (209) 456-7285. Steve Sutter, UC Area Personnel Management Farm Advisor 1720 S.
