To: wps-forum@are.Berkeley.EDU Content-Length: 999 Lines: 38 This doesn't sound right. If the product is intended (labeled) for ag use, it's in, no matter what the size of the container and the WPS labeling requirements must be shown on the label. Isn't that right? Is there such a thing as a pesticide container size "cut-off" where the manufacturer may state on the label that the product is,for example, intended for both industrial and agricultural use, and then WPS/agricultural use is NOT required on the label? We have an 8 ounce container of "Demand CS" which says for industrial or agricultural use, however there is NO ag/WPS information provided on the label. Is this legal? I don't think so.... The label calls for Barrier Laminate or Viton = or > 14 mils. Some people in the industry have told me that nitrile = barrier laminate, but I do not think this is the case. Labels either state barrier laminate, OR nitrile. Are the 2 interchangeable? I have heard of breakthrough when using nitrile gloves while handling prowl. What is definition of barrier laminate, and where can I purchase such gloves? Thanks alot. Annie Macmillan Vermont Dept. of Agriculture
