• Natural Resource Prices:  Will They Ever Turn Up. 
  Unit root properties of natural resource prices.  No evidence that prices will go up.  Data and program for a cointegration study.
• Hotelling's Theory and the Taking of the Redwood National Park
  The taking of the land for the park raised redwood prices by a large amount and made the owners
  of the remaining redwood considerably more wealthy.  In effect the public paid for the park nearly
  twice.
• Does Timber Harvest Cause County Growth or Reduce Poverty? 
  Timber employment does not lead to very much higher county employment in this study of California's timber
